In the above photo from the October Drummer, the Stop & Shop employee on the right was incorrectly identified. She is Alyshia Barron. She is pictured with Rosia Kennedy and some of the pet food supplies donated by shoppers and distributed to local rescues: Dog Star Rescue, Mary’s Kitty Corner, Bandit’s Place, Cat Connection, Connecticut Humane Society and Friends of Windsor Animal Care. In all, shoppers filled 18 carriages, two more than the last pet food drive.
