GMMS Performs Just Like Us

The Granby Performing Arts at Granby Memorial Middle School presents Just Like Us, a play about accepting differences and seeing the best in everyone. There’s a land of Blues and Greens and they are having a hard time getting along until a stranger from the land of Purple arrives and helps them accept their neighbors for who they are.

Civic Club

The Granby Civic Club will meet at Lost Acres Orchard on June 21 at 12 p.m. It has been the Club’s tradition to hold the final meeting of the year at the Orchard—partaking of a fabulous farm-to-table luncheon, discussing current events of the town and planning future club activities. The ladies enjoy a great time of food, fun and fellowship as they eat under the apple trees or on the Farm Store porch.

Shelter Volunteers Needed

Mary’s Kitty Korner, Granby’s no-kill cat shelter, is looking for volunteers to help care for its kitties until they find their “fur-ever” homes. If you love cats and have some time to spare please call 860-379-4141 or visit maryskittykorner.org.
