Lost Acres Vineyard is holding three community days over the coming year to thank its supporters. Members of the community can support local organizations with the purchase of Lost Acres Vineyard wine.
Holcomb Farm Day is on May 19. Learn more about Holcomb Farm CSA and its Fresh Access program. Each year, Holcomb Farm donates over six tons of produce to its partner organizations through its Fresh Access program. On this day, 10 percent of wine sales will be donated to Fresh Access. Members of Holcomb Farm will be on hand to answer questions about the CSA and Fresh Access. At 2 p.m., Chris Prosperi, chef and owner of Metro Bis, will give a cooking demonstration featuring Holcomb Farm produce.
Celebrate the Granby Land Trust on Aug. 25. At 1 p.m. there will be a vineyard tour, followed by a guided hike at 2 p.m. that will highlight the portion of Lost Acres Vineyard where the development rights were donated to the Granby Land Trust. Ten percent of wine sales will be donated to the Land Trust on this day.
