Granby Parents for a Safe Graduation has announced the winners of the 2018 art competition. The first place entry will be used to design the invitation for the Granby Memorial High School’s safe graduation party. The winning design is featured on a complementary grad night t-shirt, which all seniors will receive. The grad night party is free to all graduating seniors and will be held Graduation Night at the Farmington Valley YMCA in Granby.
GMHS Principal, Dr. Mike Dunn, and art teacher, Hollie Hecht, presented the awards to the winners of the competition. The first place winner, receiving a $125 award, was Rory Conroy. The second place winner, receiving a $75 award, was Meghan Leonardi. The third place winner, receiving a $50 award, was Hannah Shoaf.
A special thank you is expressed to Ms. Hecht for collecting entries and promoting the art competition among students.
