Foxfield F.A.R.M. Veterans’ Groundwork Equine Therapy Charity has been awarded a $500 grant for 2017-2018 by the Simsbury Jr. Woman’s Club. The awards night was held at the Freemason’s Hall in Simsbury, on April 19 with a social reception. Susan Patricelli-Regan, president and Bill Regan, vice president of the 501(c)3 foundation spoke to the club members and thanked them for their generous contribution to our brave service people and first responders for the summer 2018 therapy program. Lori Stethers, club vice president, and its members join a growing segment of community benefactors supporting Foxfield’s mission as an alternative approach to a better quality of life for its recipients versus clinical and opioid therapy.
