There is only one way to move forward with respect to the broken RFP process regarding 107 East Street. The Board of Selectmen must invite Westmeadow Farm back to the RFP process and confirm that from this point on, the procedure will be governed by fairness. At that point, Westmeadow’s proposal should go to a Town vote. This must be done with expedience. What the Town decides will be the result, and that is how it should be since we are the true landowners. No matter where you fall on this issue, the only agenda I am pushing is that the taxpayers make the decision as opposed to a five-person sample. All taxpayers should align to demand that the Board of Selectman step aside and let the Town decide.
