Spring’s Journey

The wind blows and there’s a talk of more snow.
I ask myself, “When will spring ever come?”
Then I remind myself that the days have lengthened, the sun is stronger, and soon purple, white, and yellow crocuses will be appearingeven if through a covering of snow.

I think of the robins, some of whom I’ve already seen, and the journey of all the other spring birds that will come here to build their nests, raise their families, and offer us their sweet songs.

It’s then I know we must journey through all of winter’s last days until springtime with all its flowers, sweet smelling scents, and Beauty returns to color the landscape again.

I must have faith that life’s journey will bring the reward of spring to us all.
