Foxfield F.A.R.M. Foundation is a 501C3 organization was established for equine groundwork therapy to treat U.S. veterans dealing with the trauma of PTSD and related mental challenges.
The program encompasses the use of rescued/retired sport horses, most specifically polo ponies, which provides a reciprocal synergy in the rehabilitation of human and equine.

The foundation has vested sponsorship of Farmington Valley polo tournaments to expand visibility of the program and to raise awareness of this most debilitating issue facing many brave U.S. veterans as well as to help to reduce the excessive use of opioids, prevent domestic violence and the potential risk to the family unit.
Susan Patricelli-Regan, president and founder of Foxfield F.A.R.M. (For A Recovery Mission) recently presented the Best Playing Pony award at the Aug. 12 Simsbury Polo Club USPA Masters Cup Tournament to Benji Daniels’ horse “Bypass.” Games have been held during the outdoor season on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and the fall indoor game schedule can be seen on the Simsbury Polo Club website.
