The Frank M. Kearns School Study Committee, appointed by the Board of Selectman, is exploring future uses for the facility and surrounding property. This property is located in the southern part of town at 5 Canton Road and was formerly a Pre-K to grade 2 school. The property is connected to public water, sewer and gas.
The committee is interested in hearing from members of the community who may have ideas about the best use of the building. This will be done by two methods.
Fill out the survey. You can cut it out from the paper, complete and return to the Town Manager’s office at Town Hall no later than Nov. 23 or you can access this survey online at www.granby-ct.gov and click on Kearns Survey: www.granby-ct.gov/Public_Documents/index.
Second, the committee will be holding a public information session on Tuesday, November 15th at 7 p.m. in the Granby Senior Center. We are interested in hearing comments from the public.
The committee meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month, at 6 p.m., in the Police Department Community Room. The meetings are open to the public and include a public comment session. Please check the town’s website for any meeting changes.
