Abby Spencer ran a lemonade stand to benefit pediatric cancer research and the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. Abby is sporting her new haircut after donating her hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, an organization that makes and donates wigs to female cancer patients. BOE kicks off school year with blow to budget

Once thought an untouchable funding source, the administration received word in mid-September that state cuts would immediately impact funds earmarked for students from Hartford.
