Camera Club
The Granby Camera Club will meet on Monday, Feb. 1, at the Granby Senior Center at 7 p.m. Ed Judge will lead an editing program. Members will all work on the same file and share their vision of editing. The club also meets March 7. To learn more about the club visit www.GranbyCameraClub.com.

Blood Pressure Screenings
The Farmington Valley VNA’s free blood pressure screenings are available without appointment Monday, Feb. 1, 11 a.m.–12 p.m., at East Granby Community Center, and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at East Hartland Town Hall; Tuesday, Feb. 16, 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., at First Church Parish, East Hartland; Thursdays, Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25, 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m., at Granby Senior Center.

Women’s Breakfast
On Wednesday, Feb. 3, Carol Bielefeld will entertain the Granby Women’s Breakfast Group at the Senior Center with her talk on the daily life of Abigail Adams. Breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m., with the program at 9 a.m. Cost is $3 per person. For reservations, call Corinne Dickerson at 860-653-9891.

MS Support
A support group for those with Multiple Sclerosis meets the second and fourth Monday of each month, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Granby Senior Center. Significant others and caregivers are welcome to attend. For more information call 860-653-1986 or 860-428-2463.

No need to go into the city for night on the town
The Granby Recreation Department and Lite’N’Up Eatery are sponsoring two fun nights out this winter.
Saturday, Feb. 20, you won’t want to miss a Night of Comedy at the Holcomb Farm.  Accomplished New York City comedians Mike Burton and Rob Ryan will be in Granby to perform and have you feeling like you’re in a big city comedy club. Desserts and snacks will be provided by Lite’N’Up Eatery and beer, wine and well drinks will be available for purchase. Individual tickets are $25 or reserve a table of eight for $200 and bring your friends and neighbors to laugh along with you. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:15 p.m.
On Saturday, March 19, join us for a night of fun and Irish Music at Holcomb Farm. The Kerry Boys will be doing a lively show featuring Irish Music and their own brand of humor. Lite’n Up Eatery will provide hors d’oeuvres, desserts and snacks. Beer, wine and well drinks will be available for purchase. Purchase an individual ticket for $20 or reserve a table of eight for $160 and bring your friends and neighbors to celebrate along with you. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the band starts at 8:15 p.m.
