Meadow View Farm will be selling its beautiful fall plants at MeadowBrook of Granby on Saturday, September 12, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Take advantage of this opportunity to stock up for your fall garden.

MeadowBrook of Granby is hosting the following informational lectures shown below. Each lecture is open to the public and free of charge with light refreshments served. September 2, from 6 – 7 p.m. Adult Immunizations

Justine Ginsberg, RN and Community Health Coordinator with the Farmington Valley Health District will discuss adult immunizations and the importance of vaccines as you age. Vaccines work with a body’s natural defense system in an effort to reduce the chance of getting certain diseases and from suffering from complications from those diseases.

October 7, from 6 – 7 p.m. Cardiac Disease/Stroke Facts

Justine Ginsberg will discuss heart disease, the number one cause of death. Over one half of all sudden cardiac deaths occur in people younger than 65 years old. Justine will also talk about stroke, which is the number four cause of death in America.
