Granby Chamber of Commerce’s annual golf tournament a success

The Granby Chamber of Commerce and the Bradley Regional Chamber Commerce are proud to announce that the annual Joseph B. Nilsen Golf Tournament was a success. The tournament was held on June 1, at The Ranch Golf Club in Southwick, Mass that provided a very accommodating and pleasurable venue for the tournament, for which the Chambers are grateful.
Despite the rainy weather, the chambers had close to 100 registered golfers, most of whom played that day to support the event. Some of the proceeds from this annual tournament provide a scholarship for a graduating Granby high school senior. “We are thankful to the Ranch, our sponsors and our volunteers for making this event a success,” said Rose Stone, Granby Chamber vice president. “We are proud to host an event that is enjoyable and that aims to help a young person start their journey into higher education. We hope to see many new faces at next year’s tournament.”
