Farm in Granby Center?
Come to the Civic Club on Thursday, April 16 and hear about the 50 acres farm in the center of Granby. Kate Bogli, along with husband Jason and four children own and operate Maple View Farm located almost in the center of Granby. Kate and family are the fourth generation family to own and operate the farm since 1950 when Jason’s grandparents moved to Granby. The farm is home to horses, cows, goats, pigs and chickens in addition to the farmers who have lived and worked there. The farm over time has been a dairy, provided pony rides, and today continues to board horses, offer horseback riding lessons and summer sessions to kids, and provide food for their neighbors through the farm store.
The Civic Club meets at 1 p.m. the third Thursday of each month, usually at the Granby Senior Center. All women of Granby are welcome. For additional info contact Ginny Wutka at ginny@lostacres.com.
