Looking to spread the news about a fundraiser for your nonprofit? Or is your group seeking new members or leaders but don’t know how to get the word out?
For Granby community groups with minimal funds to advertise, The Drummer may be able to help.
Citizens for a Better Granby (publisher of The Drummer) generously received a grant from the Granby Community Fund (GCF) with the intention of helping other Granby nonprofits raise their visibility within the community. Through the July 2026 issue the CBG Board will use these grant funds to finance advertising for nonprofit organizations that are based in Granby and operate with a small budget. Qualifying as a 501(c)(3) is not required.
In order to stretch grant dollars to help as many organizations as possible, the ads will print in black ink only and may be limited to one placement per organization. CBG encourages organizations to develop their own ads, which should be submitted as PDFs, but may also provide development assistance.
Applications are accepted and considered on a rolling basis, the earlier you submit your request the better your chances of being funded.
Please refer to our Advertising Deadlines page to ensure your submission will be in advance of any specific events being promoted. Artwork specifications will be communicated when your application is approved.
