Granby Parents for a Safe Graduation (GPSG) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that organizes a substance-free Grad Night celebration for Granby Memorial High School (GMHS) graduates, is planning several fundraisers to help support the event.
The GMHS National Honor Society’s annual Empty Bowls event has been moved to Thursday, April 20, from 5 – 7 p.m. in the newly-constructed cafeteria at GMHS.
Inserted in this month’s Drummer you will find the Friends’ membership form for this year’s fund drive.
On February 18 Kate Bogli and family, owners of Maple View Farms Brewery, hosted the farm’s first trail race.
With the rebirth of Granby Grange, a new community fundraiser has been started; namely, the Granby Grange Annual Rubber Duck Race, which will be held on Saturday, April 29, from 2–4 p.m. at Salmon Brook Park.
GMHS Dramatic Arts would like to thank everyone who came out to support us and see our production of Little Shop of Horrors. We had a great audience every night and the cast and crew had a blast together in rehearsal and performing for all of you!
Granby Public Library and Granby Conservation Commission co-sponsored a well-attended program called All About Electric Vehicles (EVs) on Feb. 13.
Stop and Shop made sure that The Waste Not Want Not community dinner attendees had sweets for Valentine’s Day. Thanks to the wonderful generosity of Stop & Shop customers, over 300 double-pack chocolate covered strawberries were donated.
