The Granby Artists Association will present a Pop-Up Arts and Crafts show at Lost Acres Vineyard on Sunday, June 4 (rain date June 11). It will be located on the lawn across the driveway from the Vineyard seating area. Show hours are the same as the Vineyard’s, 12 to 5 p.m.
The second Granby Celebrates Juneteenth festival will be held at Salmon Brook Park on Saturday, June 17. This free arts and education festival is hosted by Granby Racial Reconciliation (GRR) to commemorate Juneteenth and celebrate Black culture through music, dance, art and presentations.
On May 6, 47 veterans of WWII and the Korean and Vietnam Wars, were flown to our nation’s capital with Honor Flight Connecticut.

Granby Celebrates Juneteenth will again fill Salmon Brook Park with music, speakers, education, food, and celebration. This second event, on Saturday, June 17, from 3:30 to 9 p.m., will be bigger and better than last year—and we’re counting on the weather to cooperate! Rain date is June 18.
This year, Friends of the Granby Public Libraries (FOGPL) 40th annual Used Book Sale will be held on July 28, 29 and 30 at Holcomb Farm.
On March 19, Farmington Valley Plumbing hosted Granby Cub Scout Den 9 Troop 325 for a visit to explore its shop. Scouts got to see the many parts, tools and piping in the shop and how the right tools make the job easier.
