Community members are invited to a nonpartisan forum where candidates running to represent Granby in the Connecticut General Assembly will address issues of local concern.
The forum, on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 4 p.m., will be held at the North Campus of Granby Congregational Church, 219 North Granby Road. The moderated forum will address questions submitted in advance regarding legislative actions that will impact the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized groups. Topics will include healthcare, economic issues and affordability, housing, human rights, environmental policy and energy. PFLAG Granby is the local chapter of PFLAG National, the largest and oldest national organization supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
