Granby’s Historic District is now clearly marked thanks to new signage installed in December along Salmon Brook Street. The signs were crafted by local Granby artisan Art Roti of Belmeade Signs, whose work reflects the community’s character and pride.

Thanks to Board Member Kathy Morgan, in partnership with the Salmon Brook Historical Society, signs now serve as a visible reminder that the Granby Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The district includes the buildings around the town green and the residences on both sides of Salmon Brook Street, south to the Salmon Brook Historic Society.

Residents and visitors will now be reminded of Granby’s historic significance and the community members dedicated to preserving it.
