The Granby Senior Center provides the Senior Van Medical Transport service for a $5 fee for Granby residents and $10 for non-residents, to receive a ride from home to medical appointments and back. Since some seniors need a little bit of extra help when boarding on and off the van, the town is introducing the new Seniors’ Assistance Program, where a volunteer will join a senior for the van ride and help the senior to get on and off the van bus. Volunteers are needed. When you sign up you will also be picked up and dropped off at home by the senior van.
