Laughter is in the spotlight as the Suffield Players present Drinking Habits, an uproarious farce written by Tom Smith. This production guarantees a hilarious mix of mistaken identities, accusations, and romantic entanglements.
In this side-splitting tale, theatergoers will be transported to the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing convent, where a clandestine wine-making operation is in full swing to keep the convent afloat. However, the situation takes an unexpected turn when Paul and Sally, persistent reporters and former lovers, set out to unravel the truth. The result is an uproarious escapade filled with misunderstandings and antics.
Showtimes for Drinking Habits are scheduled at 8 p.m. on Feb. 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, and 24 at Mapleton Hall. A special matinee performance is set for Feb. 18 at 2 p.m., the only exception to the evening showtimes.
Tickets for the production can be purchased conveniently at suffieldplayers.org, and online availability is continuously updated. Recommended for ages 13 and up.
