The Friends of Granby Public Libraries are still accepting donations of gently-used baby, children and teen books—published in the last ten years, no rips or stains, books only—through end of day Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Granby Public Library in advance of the Fourth Annual Granby Children’s Book Festival. Please bring your donations to the main desk of the GPL where they will be gratefully received. The Granby Children’s Book Festival is being held at Granby Memorial Middle School on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

On Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Friends will have several tables of puzzles for sale inside the main library. There will be a great assortment to choose from with most items priced between $1 to $5. We will gladly accept any donated puzzles for the sale. Please drop off items at the main library front desk before Friday, Nov. 20.

We also are collecting any holiday books or decorations that we can sell at our holiday sale at the library in December. Please drop off items at the main library front desk between now and early December.

Check out our Facebook page, Friends of the Granby Public Libraries, for more information on our current events. All proceeds go towards supporting the libraries.
