The Carroll Sisters Trio is set to release its much-anticipated second album, Radiance, as part of Granby’s beloved Salmon Brook Music Series on Sunday, Sept. 28, 4 p.m. at the Granby Congregational Church. The trio, a dynamic Celtic fiddle band with deep roots in the Farmington Valley, is best known for their old soul connection to the Celtic tradition and their youthful energy and creative arrangements. Inspired and taught by some of the biggest Celtic music legends, this local trio transports audiences and builds connections through music.

Fiddler Emilie Carroll remarked, “We chose the name Radiance to both build on our first duo album (Daybreak) and to highlight the guiding light the New England Celtic music community has been for us individually and collectively. We all grew up in Simsbury without many Celtic music mentors, so we each had to make our own way into the larger New England music community. We are now part of that community fabric, and the tunes and arrangements chosen for the album reflect that warm embrace and inspirational influence.”
