Katan-Ensor Preserve – a great place for a winter hike

GLT Member Don Shaw, Jr. took this beautiful photo of the snowy entrance to the Granby Land Trust’s Katan-Ensor Preserve on Jan. 8 following the weekend storm. This Land Trust Preserve, located at the end of Strong Road in West Granby, is a great place for a winter hike or snowshoe as it is the trailhead for the GLT’s Old Messenger Road Preserves – the Katan-Ensor Preserve, the Schlicht Family Preserve and the Richard Garmany Preserve.
