Valley Pre-School (VPS) is the proud recipient of a generous grant from the Pomeroy-Brace Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. The Pomeroy-Brace Fund was created to support organizations serving the residents of Granby. Valley Pre-School is a non-profit organization that has been a pillar of the Granby community for close to 75 years.
The grant funding was awarded in the spring to support the installation of a custom, nature- inspired, cedar log playground. On Aug. 3, the VPS board of directors facilitated the installation of the new structure. The children of Valley Pre-School and the community will enjoy the structure for years to come and are grateful for the generosity of The Hartford Foundation.
