When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but Granby Connecticut decked out so dear!
Welcome the holidays this year with Granby’s Second Annual Tree Lighting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Town Hall Complex (Granby Public Library). Come together with friends and neighbors to sip hot chocolate, enjoy some caroling and celebrate all of the magic and good cheer the season has to offer. The beautiful spruce tree will not be the only thing brightening the night sky. Be sure to take in the more than 20 lamp posts on Route 10 near the center that will be decorated with lights and garlands.
The tree lighting is just one of the weekend’s highlights in town. The Granby Artists Association will be hosting its small works show at Pilgrim Covenant Church. Other events include The Granby Lions Club Tree Sale, Valley Brook Community Church’s Live Nativity in Salmon Brook Park and Lost Acres Vineyard Sip and Shop. Please check each organization’s website for details.
