The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Connecticut District Office has officially launched the call for nominations for the 2024 National and District Small Business Week Awards, including the Small Business Person of the Year Award.
Individuals or organizations dedicated to the support of the small business community are encouraged to nominate small businesses with exceptional innovation, growth, community engagement or resilience. Individuals may self-nominate.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and we believe in recognizing and celebrating their outstanding contributions. This is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the incredible work by small business owners and entrepreneurs dedicated to success and community growth. Nominate today and help us celebrate the spirit of small business that drives our economy forward,” said Connecticut District Director Catherine Marx.

The Connecticut District is accepting nominations for National and District awards which include: Small Business Person of the Year (National and District), Small Business Exporter (National and District), Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Small Business of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Microenterprise of the Year, Minority Small Business of the Year, Veteran Small Business of the Year, Women in Business of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
All nominations must be received via electronic submission no later than 4 p.m. ET on Dec. 7.
