GMHS presents A Christmas Carol

The Granby Dramatic Arts’ production of A Christmas Carol is approaching. Charles Dickens’ classic holiday story of Mr. Scrooge, a somber and grumpy old man, is being brought to life on the GMHS stage.

See Scrooge’s life get turned upside down when he is visited by his late friend, Jacob Marley, and three spirits who show him the true meaning behind Christmas.

The entire cast and crew have been working hard on this show, especially the current seniors, who have put their hearts into their last fall high school play. Mackenzie Janski dazzles as Scrooge, with a superb grouchy British accent. Lex Kerr and Caroline Hall perfectly portray the spirits, who evoke feelings that Scrooge has long hidden. And Sid Smith adds just the right humor to Mr. Fezziwig and Topper. The senior set crew is also working incredibly hard, as stage managers Ali Dobbert, Mikayla Munson and Riley Kuester work overtime to make sure the show runs smoothly. Finally, senior tech crew members Noah Collen, Megan Casavant and Alexis Dimeo, round out the show with their expertise in lighting and sound.

Ticket pricing is: $10 children, Granby staff and students (Granby school ID required), $15 senior citizens, teachers and students (with school ID from any school), $18 general public.
