Join Bottoms Up on Nov. 24 for the fifth Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot to benefit patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The event will be held at Thompson Brook School at 150 Thompson Road in Avon.
Race begins at 9 a.m. Online registration is now open and ends Nov. 20. The registration fee is $40 until Nov. 10, $45 from Nov. 11 to 20. Day of race registration fee is $50 at Thompson Brook between 7 and 8 a.m.
Packet pickup at Fleet Feet in West Hartford on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. Swag bag and finisher medal for the first 500 participants, prizes for top male/female finishers, prizes for top team and individual fundraisers. Current COVID guidelines will be followed. Proceeds support the Connecticut Children’s Gastroenterology Department and Infusion Center.
