Granby’s financial reporting recognized

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the Town of Granby for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2021. The report has been judged to meet the high standards of the program. Granby’s Director of Finance, Kimi Cheng, shared. “This is the 16th consecutive year the GFOA has awarded this certificate to the Town of Granby. This prestigious honor represents the highest award in government financial reporting and validates the leadership’s commitment to go beyond the minimum requirements to prepare Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports in the spirit of transparency and full disclosure.”
