The Town of Granby and Rider Productions, LLC are pleased to announce the return of the Sunset Concert Series in July. On three consecutive Saturdays, July 9, 16 and 23, the concerts will be held at Salmon Brook Park. Proceeds will benefit Granby Parks and Recreation, Habitat for Humanity, Waste Not Want Not food pantry, and Specialist Richard C. Emmons III Memorial Fund. Gates open at 3 p.m. with music from 4:15 to 8:30 p.m.

The concerts are family-friendly events open to all ages. Salmon Brook Park provides the ideal venue for lounging on the lawn, enjoying music from the bandshell, dancing and having fun with family and friends. The community gathers in this perfect setting with professional national musicians in our own back yard. Coolers, picnic supplies, blankets, lawn chairs and popups are welcome—as are dogs on a leash (with pooper scooper.)

The Line Up

July 9: The Adam Ezra Group fuses folk intimacy and rock energy with soul power and pop charm. The Adam Ezra Group first emerged from Boston in the early 2000s and quickly garnered widespread acclaim for their bold, insightful songwriting and interactive, euphoric performances with live shows all over the United States. Thousands joined daily live streams during COVID and consistent live streams are the norm today.

Welcome opening act Atlas Gray, writing and sharing powerful anthemic songs and melodies that inspire audiences through storytelling vibes. This New Englandbased band incidentally has a member that hails from Granby.

July 16: TUSK has no fancy tricks, no gimmicks, just five musicians recreating the music of Fleetwood Mac to perfection with note for note renditions that no other Fleetwood Mac tribute on the touring scene today can come close to duplicating.

Opening act is Hot Acoustics, a North American high energy guitar and electric violin duo. They have traveled the world; from across the USA, to Europe to Burning Man, Hot Acoustics has been there.

July 23: Max Creek is decisively integrated into our region’s tapestry, bringing our generations together in Granby for a day in the park enjoying the music we all love. Filled with their own version of jam music, they are quintessential Creek. As they inscribed their early Jam band route and onto today, Max Creek delivers to their endearing fans all their favorites. The band has compassed the world with their innumerable gigs, concerts, festivals and tours. Their archives are extensive, although they are not to be missed live.

The Kings open up for Max Creek with their passion for music, for family and for the fun of it all. This local favorite brings their energy and artistry to the Granby stage once again.
