In a world filled with political vitriol and Covid worries, it is easy to be discouraged. Yet despite these concerns, the world is still Beautiful.
See it in the breathtaking colors of the sky’s winter sunsets, the purity and cleanliness of the pristine white snow, and the reassuring presence of the trees and the birds. In nature, Peace can be found, and in children’s smiles there is Hope. There is inspiration in the kindness and goodwill of others, for there, too, is Hope for our world.
Look all around, and you will find the goodness that gives life meaning and purpose.
The New Year has already begun—let us look for its Joy.
