At its meeting on July 22, the Granby Republican Town Committee awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Jordan Rijkse, a 2021 graduate of Granby Memorial High School who demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership and community involvement. Jordan will attend Boston College this fall to study biology and pre-medicine. He also plans to serve in the university’s Army ROTC program.
