Kylie Hart, of East Hartland, was named to the dean’s list at Norwich University for the spring semester.

The following students received degrees from Quinnipiac University in May: Kaelyn Ludwig, from East Granby, received a master of health science in advanced medical imaging and leadership; Kevin Forbes, from Granby, received a master of business administration; Carissa McIntire, from Granby, received master of science in business analytics; Alexis Westcott, from Granby, received master of health science/physician assistant; and Brianna Dorbuck, from North Granby, received a bachelor of science in behavioral neuroscience.

The following students graduated from Endicott College in May: Sydney Warchol, from East Granby, received a master of education, autism and applied behavior analysis; Samuel Kuhnly, from Granby, received a master of business administration; and Michael Spence, from North Granby, received a bachelor of science, nursing.

The following students were named to the dean’s list of Endicott College for the spring semester: Sarah Bennett, of Granby; Mackenzie Dowd, of North Granby; Ryan McNeill, of North Granby; and Erica Presbie, of North Granby.

Physical education major Maddee McGee, of Granby, was named to the dean’s list at Eastern Connecticut State University for the spring semester.

The Accounting Scholarship Foundation of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) recently presented GMHS student Spencer Bennett, of Granbywith a High School Scholarship at the CTCPA Accounting Scholarship Foundation Awards Night.

At the American Legion State Convention in July, GMHS 1980 graduate Jim Groskritz-George was named commander of the year for the State of Connecticut. George was awarded the recruiter of the year for the state, and placed fourth nationally in the recruiter category.

Matthew Russ Heller graduated magna cum laude from Saint Michael’s College with a B.A, in media studies and digital arts.

Saint Anselm College student Claire E. Newhall, a fine arts major in the class of 2022, was inducted into the Tau Chapter of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Scholastic Honor Society for the 2020-2021 academic year. Newhall was also named to the spring 2021 dean’s list.

Samantha Gove, of Granby, a freshman psychology and sociology dual major at University of Connecticut, was named to the spring dean’s list.

Jacob Audet and Nicole Gosselin, both of East Granby, were named to the dean’s list at the University of New England for the spring semester.

Andrew Main, of Granby, graduated summa cum laude in May from the University of Rhode Island with a double major B.A. degree in criminal justice and journalism.

Sydney Faye Longley, of East Granby, graduated from Saint Michael’s College with a B.S., Summa Cum Laude in mathematics and education studies.

Kyle Brandon Desjardins and Elizabeth Catherine Volg, both of North Granby, were named to the dean’s list at Wentworth Institute of Technology for the spring semester.

Quincy Williams, a history major from West Granby, was named to the dean’s list at Hamilton College for the spring semester.

Maxwell Toczydlowski, of North Granby, graduated with a BA in political science from Trinity College in May.

Erin Kulcsar, of Granby, and Brianna Dorbuck, of North Granby, were named to the dean’s list at Quinnipiac University for the spring semester.

Samantha Lauren McAndrew, of Granby, graduated from Hartwick College.

Evelyn Brooke, of Granby, has received a scholarship from the Max Cares Foundation as she pursues her degree at Johnson and Wales University.

Samantha Cipkas graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with a bachelor of technology in animal science.

The following students were named to the dean’s list at Saint Michael’s College for the spring semester: Sydney Longley, a May 2021 graduate in mathematics and education studies from East Granby; Mikayla Thompson, an environmental studies major from Granby; Matthew Heller, a May 2021 graduate in media studies and digital arts from Granby; Dylan Trombley, a history major from West Granby; and Hanna Mulhair, a gender studies major from West Hartland.

Marieke Johanna Theodora van der Mark, of North Granby, graduated with a BS in education, health, kinesiology, and leisure studies from the Robbins College of Baylor University in December 2020.
