Granby Cub Scout wins first place in district Pinewood Derby

Granby Cub Scout Pack 325 congratulates Matthew Brissette on his victory at the District Pinewood Derby race.

As reported in the March Drummer, Matthew won the overall Granby Pinewood Derby with a car that sped down the track at 213.13 mph.

Next, he represented Granby at the Charter Oak district PWD race, which included packs from 25 surrounding towns. Matthew took first place for his rank of Arrow of Light plus first place overall at this prestigious race.

Matthew recently completed his Arrow of Light requirements and is on his way to becoming a member of the Granby Boy Scout Troop. Pack 325 congratulates him on building such an amazing car.

Pack 325 also congratulates Andrew Harvey for his first place at districts for the Webelos rank and Coleton Reilly for his second place for the Bear rank at the district race.
