Susan Patricelli Regan, founder and president of the Sylvia Davis Fine Arts Scholarship, announced that the foundation is donating the still life Sunflowers by the internationally recognized Australian artist Sylvia Davis Patricelli to the Jewish Historical Society of Greater Hartford. This painting will be available at the society’s 2021 fundraising event as a featured auction item.

The foundation was established in 2016 in memory of Davis Patricelli’s notable career in Australia and North America. Her first exhibition was opened by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt at G. Fox & Co.’s Centennial Hill Hall, and was sponsored by WTIC, G. Fox & Co. and the Wadsworth Atheneum.
