Join the New England Air Museum for a variety of family friendly, socially distanced activities every weekend as well as school holidays and vacation:

• Investigation Station: Investigate the objects, images and aircraft that tell the story of aviation.

• Flight Science Demonstrations: Discover the science of flight with social distanced demonstrations.

• Build and Fly to Go! Pick up a take-home version of our popular Build and Fly Challenges. Kits include step-by-step instructions, supplies, and surprises for visitors.

• Self-guided activities include an aviation scavenger hunt, computerized flight simulators, Kidsport and more.

“With 90,000 square feet of aircraft hangars, there really is no better place to go for safe, socially distanced fun,” says the museum’s executive director Debbie Reed. The entire museum has been cleaned and sanitized to ensure the health and safety of the museum’s visitors, staff and volunteers. The New England Air Museum follows all COVID-19 rules issued by the Governor Ned Lamont and the Reopen Connecticut panel.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the winter season. Admission is $16 for ages 15 and up, $14 for seniors 65 and up and $10 for ages 4 to 14. NEAM members and children under 3 are admitted free. Free admission is also available for veterans thanks to our partnership with KeyBank.
