To further celebrate Stop & Shop’s commitment to the community, the store also donated $1,000 and an additional $500 in product and turkeys to the Farmington Valley VNA Food Pantry for the Thanksgiving holiday. The donation will support the VNA in its continued efforts to combat food insecurity and hunger across the Granby community. Submitted photo

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, celebrated the grand reopening of its Granby store on Nov. 13.

The store features a prepared foods hot bar, providing easy solutions for meals on the go, with items like gourmet flatbread pizzas and freshly made sushi. The deli department now offers new varieties of meats, cheeses and salads, the produce department features locally sourced fruit and vegetables, and the beer section was expanded to include more local craft brews.
