The Granby Horse Council Scholarship Committee is accepting applications for 2021. The scholarship is for $500 and is intended for college tuition, books or fees.
The award goes to a senior student in high school. Students must have been in their high school program for at least two years and be a member of the Granby Horse Council at the time the scholarship application is submitted.
The recipient must plan to attend a university, college or junior college for at least a two-year program in the field of animal studies. The accepted fields include, but are not limited to, pre-veterinary school, veterinary technician or assistant, equine studies, stable management, animal husbandry, or equine assisted therapy.

Return completed applications to the Granby Horse Council Scholarship Committee, Peggy Lareau, Scholarship Chair, Granby Horse Council, P.O. Box 162, Granby, CT 06035. Applications must be received by March 31, 2021.
If the student is not already a member of Granby Horse Council, the scholarship application can be accompanied by an application for membership and the $15 fee. Application for membership for the Granby Horse Council is on the website granbyhorsecouncilct.com under “Links and Forms.”
