The Shannon Shattuck American Legion Post 182 organized a remembrance event on Sept. 11 on the Granby Town Green. Post Commander Ken Rafoss and other members of the legion, their families, clergy, and representatives from Lost Acres Fire Department participated. Live music was provided by Steve Moore on bagpipes and Curt Johnson on the snare drum.
The half-hour memorial was taped by GCTV and SCTV and will be aired on local cable stations.
