Thanks to the many sponsors and participants in UNICO’s charity golf tournament in September at Tunxis Country Club, the club will be donating more than $10,000 in food, clothing and toys to needy families in the Granby community this holiday season. UNICO’s annual Secret Santa project will assist 19 families and 46 children, who were identified with the help of Granby’s middle school and high school principals. Geissler’s Supermarket and Bob’s Store in Simsbury are partners in this charity event.

The Granby UNICO Club celebrates its Italian-American heritage and welcomes all residents from the community with Italian ancestry (or have a spouse with Italian ancestry).
