Recently a student in a photography class at the high school asked the Camera Club members if they could donate a film camera to use in the course. Over the past 24 years the Granby Camera Club members have seen a massive change in cameras as the digital age has emerged. Film cameras are no longer the primary type of equipment being sold. Many of the club members have such cameras.
A member stepped forward and responded to the request by giving one of his cameras to the student. As a result, the club is taking inventory of other film cameras owned by members to determine if there might be some to donate to high school, college and other students who need one for a class or workshop.
