Safe Grad Night celebration is June 21

Parents for a Safe Grad Night need your help. We need donations and volunteers. You don’t have to have a senior to contribute. In fact, we need NON-senior parents to chaperone and we need donations from the entire community so that every student receives a gift/prize. Each of the committees needs volunteers to ensure another great year. The Grad Night is for Seniors but it is the community that makes it work.

The 2018 Safe Grad Night will be held at the Granby YMCA on June 21, graduation night, and offers a fun-filled, substance-free event for seniors. Last year more than 80 percent of the graduating class attended. Please consider participating as a chaperone for the night of the event, with donations for gifts and prizes, or to help with food, room set up and decorations. We are especially seeking a volunteer with a graphic background to help with the Art/Invitation contest where seniors submit designs for the invitation and t-shirt.

Another way to support is by surprising your friends with a flock of Pink Flamingos roosting on their lawn for 48 hours. The flock will mysteriously migrate when the time is up and go on to roost at another address. To participate in the FLOCKING, make a donation of $25 or more to the Granby Parents for a Safe Graduation.
