Extra trash or recycling?
As we head into the busy holiday season, you may find that you have a surplus of trash or recycling. For extra trash, you will need to purchase town approved 30-gallon purple trash bags.  Paine’s will pick up ONLY these designated bags. Place the purple bags next to your trash barrel. It is not necessary to call Public Works for authorization. Trash bags are available at the Granby Public Works Department, 52 North Granby Road, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or at the Granby Transfer Station during hours of operation. The bags are $2 each.
Extra recyclables can be brought to the Granby Transfer Station, 103 Old Stagecoach Road, Granby free of charge.
