Granby musician in Baroque concert
Granby resident Laura Mazza-Dixon will play in a concert of Baroque Music for Lent in the Christ Church Cathedral Auditorium, 45 Church Street, Hartford, on Sunday, March 15, at 3 p.m.
Music director Joshua Anand Slater will conduct a program of works of Bach, Händel, Tunder, Graun and Purcell featuring the Christ Church Cathedral Choir and the Cathedral Viol Consort with Dana Campbell, Carrie Crompton, Monika Kinstler, Mazza-Dixon and Leland Tolo. Harpsichordist Christa Rakich and soprano soloist Olivia Miller will join them to present glorious Baroque music for the solemn season.
Admission is free, but goodwill donations are accepted. The entrance to the auditorium is on the alley behind the church.
