CTVV interviews Freedom of Information Commissioner

The Freedom of Information Commission is simply one of the most valuable entities available to people in the State of Connecticut.

Tom Hennick, the Public Education Officer for the Commission is a dedicated veteran member of the FOIC and with a prior career as a journalist for his family owned newspaper, The Naugatuck Daily News, his desire to seek the truth and all the facts has been a key mission in his professional career. In fact, it is a family heritage as his father, Frederick, was the Chairman of the FOIC from 1995 to 2000.

Susan Regan, Host of CT Valley Views had the fortunate opportunity to interview Mr. Hennick to provide a personal tour of this department and the unique benefits it provides to Connecticut’s citizens, businesses, organizations and towns of Connecticut. It is a “must see” show that spotlights how to seek answers that may otherwise be made unavailable through normal channels. To contact the FOIC office www.ct.gov/foi or call 860-566-5682.

Mr. Hennick’s door is always open and initiating an inquiry is as simple as writing and submitting a letter with the appropriate details. Don’t miss this segment of Ms. Regan’s, “Proof to the People” series – it could be one of the most informative PATV shows that you have seen in some time:

Cox/Enfield Channel 15 and Frontier Digital TV Channel 99 Friday February 27 and March 6 at 6 PM.

All programs are available on the CTVV website www.ctvalleyviews.com
