Waste Not Want Not Community Kitchen invites you to its third annual fundraiser extraordinaire. This year the Hungry Hearts Irish Cabaret and Gourmet Dinner will be held Saturday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the parish center at St. Therese Church, 120 West Granby Road. Tickets are $35 each.
Waste Not Want Not (WNWN), an all-volunteer 501c3 organization, was formed to provide a free and wholesome hot meal every week in a family-style atmosphere. Each Wednesday evening, 175-180 people from all walks of life come together to share this meal. Single parents, solo seniors, senior couples, families and disabled individuals come through the open doors at South Congregational community hall to be part of a family dinner in a safe and acceptable atmosphere and leave with much more than a full belly. The volunteers at WNWN not only cook and serve dinner, they supply anyone in need with fresh bread (3,120 loaves this year), free groceries (27,000 lbs. this year) coats, sleeping bags, blankets and most importantly, a true community experience.

To help support WNWN you are invited to this annual fundraising event. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with gourmet appetizers, a silent auction and socializing, followed by a lovely sit-down dinner complete with entertainment by talented local artists.
Since no one knows what tomorrow will bring, remember that health, wealth and influence can disappear in seconds. Squeeze every bit of sweetness out of your life by unselfishly sharing it with those around you and waste not, want not. Come and share the goodness!
