First Church holds annual Apple Fest Sept. 20

The Apple Fest Is Coming Again to First Congregational Church in Granby.

First Congregational Church of Granby (FCC) will host their second annual Apple Fest on Saturday, September 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the church grounds, located at 219 North Granby Road. All ages are welcome at this fun-filled community event. Apple Fest will be held rain or shine, using both indoor and outdoor covered spaces.

The event will feature vendors and crafters including unique international vendors, a large tag sale-Granny’s Boutique, a Farmer’s Corner for local produce, a large bake sale featuring many apple-themed items, a DJ and FCC’s famous cheese bread. Food will be available all day featuring grilled paninis, chili, soups, cider, and more.

“I’m excited that our church is offering Apple Fest for a third year,” said Ginny McDaniel, the church’s senior minister. “Last year was very successful and we’re thrilled to do this community event again. Our church has a reputation for good cooks – and the cheese bread is always a hit.”

There is no admission fee for attending Apple Fest, and free parking is available. For more information about the event, volunteering or vendor opportunities, please call the church office at 860-653-4537 or visit firstchurchgranby.org
