First Church of Granby is hosting its annual Strawberry Supper on Saturday, June 9, at 219 North Granby Road, in Cook Hall.
There will be two sittings, at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Proceeds will go towards the mission of First Church in the community and in the world.
One of the organizers of the event, Mary Chicoine said, “We enjoy hosting the Strawberry Supper for the Granby community. Church suppers are not held as often as they used to be but we always have a good turn-out.” The menu will include baked ham, potato salad, baked beans and Connecticut-grown strawberries on homemade biscuits with whipped cream.
Please call the church office at 860-653-4537 to make your reservation for either the 5 or the 6:30 p.m. sitting. Cost of the supper is $12 for adults, $7 for children under 12. You can also purchase just strawberry shortcake this year for $7.
