The Amanda Webster Slate was voted to attend the Democratic Connecticut House of Representatives convention this May by the Democratic voters of Granby. All registered Granby Democrats were invited to attend and vote for the slate of delegates pledged to their preferred candidate. One of the highest turnouts in recent memory, the caucus included 123 Granby Democrats; 67 supported the Amanda Webster Slate.

Webster is a young, progressive Democrat, executive board member of the PTO, and member of the Board of Education’s Equity Task Force. She has caught the attention of 62nd district residents through her dedication to progressive causes, strong work ethic and accomplished campaign. Prior to this caucus, Webster had already knocked on 1,300 Granby residents’ doors, held over a dozen business tours and meet & greets, received national press attention on the cover of TIME Magazine, and received three endorsements (American Women’s Party, RunForSomething, and Connecticut Women’s Political Revolution).

These six delegates will vote for Webster at the Connecticut House of Representatives Convention on May 16, 7 p.m., at Holcomb Farm. Webster continues her efforts to connect with the voters of the 62nd district.
